Could your Centro save your life?

Could your phone save your life? Perhaps it could if you have MyRapidMD. I recently spoke to Damien Vallernaud, Chief Operating Officer of MyRapidMD, at CTIA. Not only can you keep your up-to-date medical history where first responders can find it, but right now you can get a free lifetime subscription....

Just go to myrapidmd.com and at checkout, enter the code MRMD08CES. Skip the credit card information, and following the reminder to fill it in after clicking on continue, you'll be told this is a free subscription and no credit card information is needed at this time.

But before you take the few short minutes to fill in your information, listen to Damien explain what the company is doing, and how this service really can be a life saver.

Part 2

I believe the most meaningful drawback to MRMD is that you need to install java on your Palm os device to use it. Hopefully, there will be a non-java version in the not too distant future, or perhaps java will be written into the next version of the Palm OS. But even without having the information instantly available on your phone, having it available to emergency personnel is a great idea.
